FakeMeats.com and PETA join Forces to Raise Awareness of Turkey-Free Roasts this Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is one of the biggest food holidays the US celebrates and sadly the turkey takes center stage at the dinner table. At FakeMeats.com our goal is to help everyone preparing Thanksgiving feasts to have other options - which is why we are so excited to partner with PETA this year. Together, we’re bringing awareness of delicious, turkey-free plant based options that can replace the traditional, go-to turkey.

PETA is an active animal rights organization that works to bring ‘members of the scientific, corporate and legislative communities to achieve large-scale, long-term changes that prevent animal suffering and exploitation.’

FakeMeats.com has supported PETA since 2013, and to aid in their mission, the Fake Meats team packed vegan roasts this week that are being sent to journalists, tv and radio celebrities all across the country. The hope is that these prominent journalists will not only cook the roast and try it, but will also share their plant-based holiday experience with their readers, viewers and listeners!

We are also trying to be as eco-friendly as possible! All packaging material and insulated shipping containers the roasts ship in are specially designed to be biodegradable and curb-side recyclable. We avoid the use of styrofoam insulation, which is an environmentally harmful material often overlooked by companies who ship cold products.

FakeMeats.com was founded in 2011 on the premise of bringing delicious meat alternatives to everyone.
