How do you Drain Water from Tofu?
Quit stacking cans, jugs, and pots of water on top of your tofu!
Follow these easy steps to drain your tofu:
- Place tofu brick in between the two press plates.
- Tighten knobs simultaneously or alternately, so the tofu brick is pressed evenly. Stand EZ Tofu Press on its side for better water removal.
- Pressing can take 5 to 15 minutes depending on how fast tension is applied. To quickly dry tofu, tighten knobs every 2-4 minutes while preparing meal. After several uses, you will find what works best.
- When your tofu has reached the desired dryness level, reverse tension knobs, slide your tofu brick out, marinate and cook!
